My wife Diane's bike.  This is the bike that started me off on my mission.  A 1960's Roadmaster girl's bike bought at Goodwill for the low low price of $2.00.  When Diane said, "It could be my X-mas present!",   with that look of "can I have it?"  in her eyes and a price of $2.00,  how could I say no?  That would be mean.  I thought to myself, "I can fix this".  And fix it I did.

 And so it began...

The look on Diane's face when she saw her bike transformed made all the hours locked in the basement, hunting parts on the internet and hiding the project, worth it.

This is my bike.  It does not have a fancy name like "The Flash" or anything,  I just call it "My Bike".  Abused, neglected, and fogotten in the basement of a second hand store, this bike began its life as a humble beach cruiser.  With a little bit of TLC and a lot of extra time, my bike has a new life as a Super Cruiser.

Like I said, a humble beginning.  Flat tires, no chain, really ugly paint - a humble beginning indeed.
