If you didn’t catch the Ride Texas Readers’ Choice edition, here’s the excerpt about MBW from the Ride Texas Magazine.
Where are you going to go when you’re ready to buy a bike, get service or find the right gear? These are the businesses that our readers recommend. Some of them are long time favorites of Ride Texas, but several are new to the Best in Texas list. Ride Texas welcomes the new entrants and congratulates all the winners.
THREE NEW WINNERS
In last year’s Readers Choice awards, it was a 5-way tie for independent service shops. No one shop stood out. This year’s polling showed vastly different results; a relatively new shop, barely three years in operation, literally ran away with the title Best Independent Service for All Brands. The winner in that category and new to the Best in Texas poll is Motor Bike Works (MBW) in Frisco, receiving more than twice the votes of the next nearest nominee.
The next new winner is in the Metric Brands dealership category. They are a double winner, topping their fellow contenders for both the Metric Sales and Service. Congratulations to Cycle Center of Denton, winner of both Metric Brands Dealer Service and Sales brackets.
Javelina Harley-Davidson in Boerne has finished in the top 10 Domestic Dealer rankings before; this year they are a first-time winner in the results for AutoCar, 3-Wheeler or Trike Dealers.
RETURNING WINNERS
European Cycle Sports, last year’s double winner for the European Brand motorcycles sales and service repeats again, winning both classes. The Plano shop received more votes in the Sales competition than the next five entries combines, an impressive win for the top-rated shop.
In the Domestic Brands dealership contest, Horny Toad Harley-Davidson of Temple is another double winner, taking the title of Best Domestic Sales and Domestic Services dealership by a wide margin. Although they are in a small town, they attracted big votes, winning both their segments by some of the widest margins seen in the Best in Texas poll. Way to go, Horny Toad Harley-Davidson of Temple, a repeat double winner for Domestic Brand Dealerships. Horny Toad also took first place in the New Rider Training Classes competition.
The third notable repeat winner has dominated their niche since the very beginnings of the Best in Texas Readers Choice Awards. Moto Liberty is undefeated as the Top Gear Store in Texas. No other retailer comes close to the number of our readers who put their trust in the shop in Addison. This year Moto Liberty can add a new title to their long list of achievements, our readers gave them he thumbs up for the Friendliest Counter Staff in Texas. This makes 2021 their first year a double winner for both Riding Gear & Accessories and Friendliest Counter Help.
